Dr. Wierzbicki received this honor alongside DOGR Superintendent Sarah Grey. We are proud to have such strong leaders in our community, dedicating their time and talents to furthering Catholic education.

Scope of Work: As president/CEO of West Catholic High School, Dr. Jill Wierzbicki directs the school’s leadership team, oversees the school’s annual budget, manages foundational assets and recently launched a capital campaign to expand innovation and design offerings. She also serves as a consultant with Loyola University Chicago, supporting Catholic schools nationwide in transitioning to microschool models and multiage instruction through customized professional development and strategic guidance for educators and diocesan leadership.

Major Project(s): Dr. Jill Wierzbicki (publishing as Jill Annable) co-authored “Greatness in Smallness: A Vision for Catholic Microschools” (2021) and authored “Greatness in Smallness: Effective Multiage Instruction in Catholic Microschools” (2022). These works helped spark a national shift in Catholic education, with school closures dropping from 209 to just 37 following their publication. Successful microschool models featured in the books are being implemented nationwide and locally, and several students from nearby microschools are now attending West Catholic. Dr. Wierzbicki continues this work through national consulting.
