International Program
The West Catholic High School International Program welcomes dozens of students from around the globe each year and is designed to prepare them for attending universities in the United States. Our students who complete all courses required earn their high school diploma and are assisted in the college application and admission process. Continuous academic support and individualized programs are tailored to meet the needs of each student.

*Attending high school for 2-3 years in the state of Michigan is a pathway to in-state tuition costs at these universities as well as others.

West is home to over 15 clubs and organizations and over 25 varsity and co-op sports, a Fall play and a Spring musical, and many more involvement opportunities to both International and Domestic students. With roughly 500 students, West Catholic has a family-like atmosphere where students are known, supported and encouraged to get involved from the moment they arrive. Our safe, supportive campus provides an environment where students can focus on learning, building friendships and making the most of their high school experience.
Just 4 miles from downtown Grand Rapids, students have easy access to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and all of the perks of a growing city. Along with the city, having Lake Michigan only 40 miles away, weekend adventures include stunning beaches and outdoor exploring. Whether you’re cheering on the Falcons, exploring downtown, discovering the lakeshore, or enjoying a backyard get-together, West Catholic gives International Students the opportunity to experience a safe and welcoming West Michigan community
