Marketing Specialist
West Catholic High School is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to join our advancement efforts. This role plays a vital part in promoting the mission of the school, strengthening enrollment and advancement initiatives, and fostering meaningful relationships with prospective families, alumni, donors and the broader West Catholic community.
The Marketing Specialist will report to the President/CEO and work closely with the Advancement team to develop and execute marketing strategies, produce compelling content, support fundraising and alumni engagement, and assist with planning and promoting key school events.

Responsibilities:
- Write, review and revise content for printed and digital publication
- Create, schedule and plan engaging content for newsletters, social media, websites, email campaigns and marketing materials to reach a variety of audiences, including prospective families, alumni, donors and supporters
- Support admissions marketing efforts, including enrollment campaigns, recruitment materials and outreach initiatives
- Create advancement and fundraising communications, including appeals, donor recognition and stewardship materials
- Collaborate on alumni relations efforts, including alumni communication, event promotion and engagement strategies
- Contribute to the planning, promotion and execution of school events, including admissions events, fundraising events, alumni gatherings and community celebrations
- Review and edit content produced by other staff members to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency
- Meet strict deadlines aligned with annual communication, admissions and event calendars
- Fact-check content using standard references to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with school leadership and cross-departmental teams on communications, events and relationship management
- Stay informed on emerging practices in marketing for nonprofit and faith-based organizations
- Uphold the mission of West Catholic High School — to form disciples of Christ through a dynamic, excellence-driven Catholic education — with value placed on the dignity of work and the dignity of the human person
- Maintain school website(s) to keep information current and accurate
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Dedication to the mission of Catholic education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline
- Experience in marketing, social media, website management and/or content creation preferred
- Experience supporting admissions, fundraising, events or alumni relations is a plus
- Practicing Catholic preferred

Bus Driver - School Transportation
West Catholic High School is looking to hire a School Transportation Bus Driver for 20+ hours/week during the school year (mostly morning/afternoon school hours, but some hours may be available for events during evenings and weekends).
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport high school and elementary students to and from school or school-related activities following a set route and schedule
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation
- Conduct van pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized van interior
- Promote the mission-centered work of the schools in daily interaction with students, coworkers, parents/guardians and members of the community
Qualifications:
- Maintain a valid State of Michigan CDL
Requirements:
- Ability to provide positive communication to students and parents
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Complete the required training for school bus drivers
- Pass a background check, drug screening and DOT physical; submit to random drug and alcohol tests and in-vehicle monitoring to ensure safe driving
Paid training and starts at $21/hr. Part-time employee health benefits are available.
Position is eligible for current part-time employee tuition discount of 33% after one year of service for students attending West Catholic High School or Catholic Central High School.

Van Driver - School Transportation

- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Requirements:
- Complete required training for school van drivers (~12 hours)
- Pass a background check, drug screening and physical
- Submit to random drug and alcohol tests and in-vehicle monitoring to ensure safe driving

2nd-Shift Custodian
West Catholic High School is looking to fill a full-time 2nd shift (3-11 p.m.) custodial position.
- Responsible for providing a clean and healthy environment for staff and students
- Duties include classroom and restroom cleaning, event setup and teardown, trash removal and other custodial duties assigned
- Previous custodial/janitorial experience preferred
- Experience stripping and waxing hard floors and carpet extraction preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet other physical requirements of the job

Food Service Assistant
West Catholic High School is looking for a part-time (25 hours per week) Food Service Assistant to work at Holy Trinity Catholic School. The position is scheduled five days a week 9 a.m.-1 p.m., during the school year (mid-August through the first week in June).
The following are characteristics of an ideal candidate:
- General knowledge and understanding of nutrition
- Ability to interact positively with students, staff, and other personnel
- Excellent organizational skills and able to respond and adapt when necessary
- Dependable, with experience working in facilities utilizing quantity food production methods
- Practicing Catholic preferred
Essential tasks performed:
- Prepares food items according to standardized recipes and directions
- Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Learn the Point of Sale program, maintains students’ lunch accounts
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, students, and co-workers
- Food preparation according to written and oral instructions
- Ability to work independently, or with others, in a close, fast-paced environment and the ability to address customers in a pleasant, courteous manner
- Physical requirements include walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to be exposed to chemicals. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks.

West Catholic is looking to expand its substitute teacher list! If you have teaching experience, please consider applying to be added to our sub roster. The following are characteristics of an ideal candidate:
- Teaching experience
- Ability to provide backup teaching services when full-time teachers are unable to work
- Ability to execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher
- Ability to create and maintain a respectful and fair classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning
- Virtus training is a plus!
