THIS WEEK AT WEST
Parking Lot Info
Our main parking lot is currently closed as repairs are being made. We expect the parking lot to reopen shortly after the July 4th holiday break. Click HERE for a map highlighting areas that will be closed during the project, and be sure to watch for posted signs and barricades directing traffic and identifying visitor parking areas.
NOTE: During construction, our building may only be accessed through the doors on the west/stadium side. Visitors to the main office should enter through Door 4, while summer camp participants and athletic visitors may enter through Door 3. Please look for signs marking these entrances.
Summer Office Hours
The main office is currently operating under its summer hours: Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. (closed Fridays). Please note that the school will be closed the week of June 29-July 3.
Lost & Found
Leave something at WC? Come in and check out our lost and found! Any items not picked up by Friday, July 10, will be donated.
WC Summer Camps
Give your kids the opportunity to grow, learn and have fun this summer with West Catholic Summer Camps! Whether they want to sharpen their athletic skills or explore their creativity, our camps offer hands-on experiences led by expert coaches and instructors. Volunteer Opportunity
Middle school, high school and adult volunteers are needed to help with the Elementary Program during the Basilica of St. Adalbert’s Totus Tuus formation week (July 20-24 | 9 a.m.-3 p.m.). Host Families Needed
We are still seeking host families for several students arriving this fall from countries including Germany, Brazil, Spain, Vietnam, Taiwan and China. Host families receive a monthly stipend and a $1,000 tuition or travel credit (applicable to school trips). If you’re interested in this rewarding cultural experience, please contact International Program Coordinator Leann Garrison at leanngarrison@grwestcatholic.org or 616-233-5938 to learn more.
Adorers Needed
If you are interested in signing up for adoration next year, please visit this link. If you have questions or difficulty signing up, please contact Patti Kohane at pattikohane@att.net. We are also hoping to keep the chapel open over the summer on Wednesdays from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Please contact Patti if you would like to take a summer hour anytime from now through Labor Day.
West Catholic Parent Guild

2026 Book Study
We are pleased to announce the next Parent Guild book study! This fall, we will be reading Saint John Paul the Great: His Five Loves by Jason Evert. The study will be facilitated by Dr. Jill Wierzbicki and other WC staff members. As the official patron saint of West Catholic, St. John Paul II offers a great example of how we are called to live and love as Catholics. This book study promises to educate you on his valuable teachings and reinforce lessons taught to your students in their Theology courses. Details, dates and registration info can be found HERE. 3rd-Quarter Honor Roll
Congratulations to all of our students who were named to our 3rd-Quarter Honor Roll! Students are included in the Honor Roll if they earn a grade of B- or higher in each course (based on quarter grades only).
Aquinas College Partnership
West Catholic is thrilled to announce a new direct admission partnership with Aquinas College. This guarantees admission for students who meet the GPA requirement, starting with the Class of 2026. For more on this exciting announcement, CLICK HERE.
Selective Service System
Young men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. If you do not register, you cannot qualify for job training benefits and many state and federal jobs. Don’t get left out! For more information and to register, visit sss.gov.

We are very excited to announce that the West Catholic Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms, an online form and data management service. Please click HERE to register and follow the prompts to create your parent/guardian and student accounts and to sign the forms you need to participate in athletics.
Volunteers Needed for Athletics
We need volunteers to help in various areas during our upcoming athletic events. This is a great way to support our student-athletes and be part of the game-day energy! Our greatest need is in concessions. All profits go directly back to support our team. If you can volunteer, please sign up using THIS LINK.
