SPIRIT WEEK THEMES: Students can participate in Spirit Week and dress according to each day’s theme. For those who choose to dress up, please be sure you are still following appropriate dress code guidelines.
- Monday – Christmas in September
- Tuesday – Dress Up for Jesus (no jeans)
- Wednesday – Movie Character/Celebrity Day
- Thursday – Class Colors (9th – yellow, 10th – red, 11th – white, 12th – black, staff – green)
- Friday – NO SCHOOL
POWDERPUFF GAME: Our junior and senior girls will be facing off on Monday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 p.m. under the lights in Falcon Stadium at our annual PowderPuff Game! Come cheer them on!
ALUMNI HOMECOMING HAPPY HOUR: We are excited to invite all West Catholic alumni to join us for a special homecoming celebration! Reconnect with old friends and fellow graduates at our annual Alumni Homecoming Happy Hour on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 5-8 p.m. in the West Catholic MAK. Please RSVP to let us know you’ll be attending. We look forward to seeing you there!
HOMECOMING GAME: Our Homecoming game against GR Christian is set for Friday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. While you’re at the game, check out:
- Falcon Flashback Sale – The WC Athletic Department will be selling game-worn and unused jerseys, our new “Together We Win” t-shirts and more
- Spirit Store – Get the latest WC gear at our stadium Spirit Store (closes after halftime)
- Luke’s Diggity Dogs – Student Luke Latchana will be selling corndogs with proceeds supporting the All A’s Classic
- Wendy’s – Giveaways include cookies, squish balls and coupons
- Bumblebee’s Ice Cream Truck – Novelty ice cream treats
The game will also feature a special halftime presentation crowning our new Homecoming king and queen and featuring the WC Marching Band! This year’s Homecoming Court is Alex Bartish, Cooper Prominski, Brady Kurlenda, Evan Buehler, Roman Plew, Gracie Wing, Katelyn Adams, Emerson Whitscell, Zoe Brechting and Laeni Chrystan.
HOMECOMING DANCE: Our annual Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, in the WC Aux Gym. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and close promptly at 8 p.m. The dance is scheduled to end at 11 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Homecoming tickets remain on sale through Wednesday, Oct. 1. In order to purchase a ticket, you will need to complete this form. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased by cash or check (payable to West Catholic High School). Mrs. Britton will be in the lunchroom on Tuesday to sell tickets. You may also purchase tickets in the main office. Guest forms are available in the office and must be completed by the time of your ticket purchase.
