Course Description: Personal Power A is a skills for life, hands-on elective course for students in grades 9-12 that equips students with practical life skills necessary to thrive in the 21st century. This course explores key facets of everyday living, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making, making healthy choices, and responsible citizenship. Students will become prepared for the following areas: nutrition and wellness, communication skills, relationship building, understanding diverse perspectives, family and home management, and problem-solving skills. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how their personal, family and consumer choices align with their faith and contribute to a more just society.

*Students who will be receiving a West Catholic Certificate of Completion are able to take Personal Power A multiple times throughout their high school career.

Personal Power B
